The Nguitalele Community Center serves as a safe haven for children and adolescents at risk. Many children from poverty-stricken families pass their days in the streets, as their parents work long hours and have little time left to tend to their children. The center provides a place for youth to learn and interact in a safe and positive setting.

Representatives of the center also pay in- house visits to these families, maintaining an open dialogue with both parents and children to help them reach their goals.
